About Me
Hello there. Thank you for stopping by. My name is Emily East - a graphic designer by day and an artist by night (or both at any particular time). I graduated from Lindenwood University in May, 2020, worked freelance while surviving the pandemic, and joined the Marketing Team at EJ Welch from October 2021 through June 2025.
If you are here on my site, you probably noticed I draw a LOT.
Art and design tends to consume my day regardless of whether I am actively trying to create or not. A van will pass by me on the road, and I’ll take the mental time to appreciate its company colors and font choices. I’ll pick apart different things I happen to pass in a shop, stopping to enjoy the patterns on a shower curtain or the shapes of a lamp. I’ll even play a video game and make personal notes on the pause menus, delighting in if the menu is distinct enough to match the content of the game.
Inspiration for design and potential for art is EVERYWHERE to me. I’ll keep drawing and designing for it.
